The aim of this workshop is to build critical mass among clinicians, end-users, developers and researchers in areas of interest around magnetocardiography. Workshop themes: Emergency medicine and risk stratification, electrophysiology, arrhythmia, signal processing, primary care, health assessment, modelling.
The objective of the meeting is to disseminate recent results in stochastic analysis among the scientific community in the UK and strengthen its links with European experts in the field. We address three topics which are popular in stochastic analysis, namely Backward Stochastic Differential Equations (BSDEs), Information and McKean-Vlasov equations.
Based on the foundational works of Joseph Fels Ritt and Ellis Robert Kolchin, differential algebra has evolved into an extremely rich subject during the last two decades. Differential Algebra and Related Topics (DART) is a series of workshops which offer an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and views on differential algebra and related topics.
The Workshop on Computational Approaches to Morphologically Rich Languages, organised by the Leeds University Kartvelian Studies group, aims to bring together established specialists and postgraduate research students working in the field of computational morphology and morphosyntax.
IQCLSW 2016 brought together leading international researchers in the field of quantum cascade lasers, and the programme provided a series of presentations spanning all aspects of quantum cascade laser research across the electromagnetic spectrum, from fundamental physics to the exploitation and applications of this technology.
This workshop took place at the University of Leeds and featured speakers Andrej Bauer (University of Ljubljana), Steve Awodey (Carnegie Mellon University), Matthieu Sozeau (Inria) and Robert Harper (Carnegie Mellon University). The workshop was supported by the Engineering and Physical Research Council (EPSRC) and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research.
The meeting was hosted by the School of Chemistry and took place at the University of Leeds from the 29th July – 1st August 2013.
