Bursaries

We are keen to support student attendance at the symposium, and we are able to offer some travel bursaries. Please note that these can be used for travel to and from the symposium, and one night’s accommodation including breakfast.

Successful applicants will be registered for attendance at the symposium, including lunch and refreshments.

Bursaries are open to students at all levels of study who are resident in the UK and registered at a UK university.

All bookings will be made by the University of Leeds Libraries team in accordance with the University’s Travel Policy.

How to apply

To apply for a bursary, please complete the application form, and tell us in no more than 500 words why you would like to attend, and how attendance will help your academic development.

Successful applicants will be expected to produce a blog post and / or a short response piece for the symposium organisers, and they also agree to being interviewed about the proceedings on the day.
