COVID Protocol

Though we are excited to see all of you in person (and virtually!) to present exciting new research and workshop the future of Pliocene modelling and data collection, we continue to live during a global pandemic. To keep everyone attending in-person as safe as possible, we are instituting the following guidelines:

  • Please test the day prior to arrival and each day at the workshop. At check in, we will provide you with enough tests for the duration of the workshop. Each morning you will be required to present your test.
  • Please wear a surgical or higher-grade mask while indoors at the workshop, unless medically exempt. Mask wearing exceptions are while 1) presenting an oral presentation if the presenter feels comfortable removing their mask and 2) consuming food and drinks. We will supply masks if needed.
  • Weather permitting, we aim to leave windows open to improve ventilation. Please dress in layers.
  • Weather permitting, we aim to have meals and coffee breaks outside and/or in well ventilated areas.

COVID rates in the UK remain concerningly high and the health and safety of our colleagues and their families are important to us. Thank you for abiding by these protocols.
