Things to do
Leeds and the surrounding area has a lot to offer to its inhabitants and visitors, both in terms of culture and in terms of going outdoors. As well as being a vibrant City, Leeds is also close to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, offering wonderful opportunities for hiking and other outdoor activities. The historic City of York is also nearby offering, amongst other things, the National Railway Museum

By chance there is a steam train trip from Leeds to Carlisle and back over the famous railway on Sat 29 June departing Leeds at 11:15 and arriving back 19:00.
