Travel and Accommodation

This conference will take place at the School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Leeds.

The lectures on Day 1,2 and 3 are in EC Stoner 10.72. This room is in between staircases 3 and 4 on Level 10. The practicals on Day 3 are in EC Stoner 6.61. Take the lift near staircase 4 to Level 6. Coffee, tea and biscuits are provided at 9.30 and 15.00 on Day 1,2 and 3 in EC Stoner 8.70 (Staff Common Room) near staircase 4.On Day 4 and 5 the talks will be in SR B.08 of the Parkinson Building.

• From the railway station, the campus is within walking distance, at about 15-20 minutes.  Alternatively, you can take a taxi or bus 1 (direction Holt Park).
• From the airport, there is a shuttle bus 757 that brings you to the city centre.

As Leeds city centre is close to the University there are plenty of hotels available within walking distance. Some good suggestions are the Ibis Styles Leeds City Centre Arena and the Met hotel, but others hotels in all budget ranges are at hand.
