Dr Mapenzie Tauzie

Dr Mapenzie Tauzie is a researcher specializing in the field of Development Policy and Management, driven by a steadfast commitment to addressing pressing global issues at the nexus of agrarian livelihoods, food systems transformation, climate change, and social justice in Sub-Saharan Africa. In her capacity as a Research Fellow at FoSTA-Health at the University of Leeds, her leadership spans research endeavours encompassing the dynamics of emerging urban elites in Malawian agriculture and, currently, women’s empowerment and food systems transformation.
