Venue and Travel

The conference will be held in the beautiful Alpine setting in Montgenevre, France, just at the Italian border. The location is ideal for field trips which will be held close to the area (one running out of the village itself).

The venue will be the modern facilities of the Montgenevre Cinema Complex, which hosts ~165 seats in its theatre, and a large event hall for poster sessions. See pin on the map below for location.

Travel: Turin is the closest airport, followed by e.g. Lyon, Grenoble, Geneva, Marseille. The easiest link with public transport is possibly from Grenoble, there are bus links (change in Briancon). You can also fly to Paris or Turin, to link with TGV to Oulx, and further with a bus to Montgenevre.

Accommodation: There are plenty of hotels and apartments in the village and in close-by areas, but we strongly advise that you book accommodation early as the area is a popular tourist destination. Nearest campsites are in Briancon.
