Location
The University of Leeds lies at the heart of the city of Leeds in West Yorkshire. The University of Leeds's main campus is within walking distance of the city centre, Leeds Railway Station, and Leeds Bus Station.
Travel
Travelling by air
The closest airports are Leeds Bradford Airport and Manchester Airport, located approximately 7 miles (12 km) and 54 miles (90 km) away from the University respectively. Both airports are served by regular flights from many cities in Europe and beyond.
Travelling by train or coach/bus

Leeds Bus Station lies next to the Leeds terminal of the National Express coach service, which connects the major cities in the UK. For coach details, visit the National Express website.
- Walking: we are just a 20-minute walk from Leeds Railway Station and Leeds Bus/Coach Station
- Cycling: our campus has secure bike racks for you to use throughout the duration of your visit. For bike routes and information about cycling in Leeds, visit the Leeds City Council cycling pages.
- Buses: the number 6 bus runs from the bus station to the Parkinson Building, outside the University’s main entrance. There is also a Leeds CityBus that stops at the bus and train stations and the southern end of campus (near the back of Leeds General Infirmary). - Taxis: taxi ranks are located outside Leeds Railway Station and Leeds Bus/Coach Station are both approximately 10-minute ride away from the University of Leeds
Travelling by car
Leeds is easily accessible via the M1 and M62 motorways. To minimise the environmental impact of events at the University of Leeds and due to limited parking available on campus, we recommend using public transport, wherever possible. However, we appreciate that this may not always suit your requirements, so please contact the conference organizers if you wish to discuss paid parking options available.
