Geoffory will discuss <span lang=\"EN-GB\">mechanisms of continental lithosphere <\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">thinning <\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">during rifting, using field analogues from the Alps and from present-day systems such as the Iberia-Newfoundland margins. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uu.nl\/staff\/DWallis\">Dr David Wallis, University of Utrecht<\/a>.
