The Event<\/h3>\n

In this lecture-performance, Kimberly Campanello tracks the digital as method and<\/em> as source in her Italy-oriented writing, with examples from work-in-progress: This Knot, Dante\u2019s <\/em>Commedia with the Poet K<\/em> and A Rag, A Map, a Pocket, a Grave<\/em><\/a> (novel).<\/p>\n

The lecture-performance will be followed by a drinks reception.<\/p>\n

The event will be held at the historic Workshop Theatre<\/a> at the University of Leeds.<\/p>\n

The Author<\/h3>\n

Kimberly Campanello<\/a>'s\u00a0most recent poetry collection\u00a0An Interesting Detail<\/em><\/a>\u00a0was published by Bloomsbury Poetry this April. Her debut novel\u00a0Use the Words You Have<\/em><\/a>\u00a0is the inaugural title from Somesuch Editions, the imprint of BAFTA and Oscar-winning production company\u00a0Somesuch<\/a>. Her versioning of Dante\u2019s Commedia<\/em> has been supported by the Devers Program in Dante Studies at the University of Notre Dame. Extracts have appeared or are forthcoming in\u00a0Firmament,\u00a0Poetry Ireland Review,\u00a0Still Point<\/em>, and\u00a0Notre Dame Review<\/em>. Kimberly Campanello is a Professor of Poetry at the University of Leeds<\/a>.<\/p>\n
