Conference Venues \/ Lieux du congr\u00e8s<\/h2>\n

The congress will take place across two venues: Cloth Hall Court<\/strong><\/a>, located in Leeds city centre close to Leeds Railway Station, and the Michael Sadler Building<\/strong><\/a>, located on the University of Leeds campus<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Quebec Street is off City Square, which is in front of Leeds\u00a0railway\u00a0station (the station building is behind the Queens Hotel).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If\u00a0<\/span>you arrive by train, after going through the ticket barriers\u00a0don't\u00a0go straight out of the main doors in front of\u00a0you, but\u00a0turn left and then walk down to the Aire Street and City Square exit. When you exit here, Quebec St is directly in front of you between two large buildings (see photo). Watch out for fast cyclists.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

University of Leeds and the Michael Sadler Building<\/h2>\n

It is\u00a0a 20-minute walk\u00a0from Cloth Hall Court\u00a0(slightly uphill).<\/div>\n
There are several routes but the easiest\u00a0is to walk up Park Row and Cookridge St to Woodhouse Lane. Keep going up\u00a0the\u00a0hill past Leeds Beckett University. After 5 minutes you will arrive at the University of Leeds campus. Look out for the tower of the Parkinson Building (see photo below).<\/div>\n

The 24\u00a0bus\u00a0(direction\u00a0Holt\u00a0Park)\u00a0goes directly from the back of Cloth Hall Court (Infirmary St,\u00a0opposite Pret a\u00a0Manger)\u00a0to the University (Parkinson Building\/Court\/Steps).\u00a0The bus stop is called City Square E.<\/div>\n

Journeys cost \u00a32.50 and you can pay on the bus with a bank card -\u00a0no\u00a0need to buy a ticket in advance.<\/div>\n

There are also many other buses to the Parkinson Building from the city centre from\u00a0the stop\u00a0Headrow\u00a0L\u00a0(on Albion St, opposite McDonalds). This might be closer to where\u00a0you\u00a0are staying.<\/div>\n

You can pick up a\u00a0white\u00a0taxi from the back of Leeds station\u00a0or\u00a0various places\u00a0in the city centre. Uber is\u00a0very popular\u00a0too\u00a0or you can\u00a0ring Veezu\u00a0Taxis\u00a0on 00\u00a044\u00a0113 269 1558.\u00a0The cost of journeys will vary from 6\u00a0to 12\u00a0pounds\u00a0and you can\u00a0usually\u00a0pay by card. Ask the driver to take you to the University of Leeds Parkinson steps.<\/div>\n

Travel \/ Acc\u00e8s<\/h2>\n

Travelling by air \/ Voyager en avion<\/h3>\n

The closest airports<\/strong> are Leeds Bradford Airport<\/strong> <\/a>and Manchester Airport<\/strong><\/a>, located approximately 7 miles (12 km) and 54 miles (90 km) from the University respectively. Both airports are served by regular flights from many cities in Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n

N.B. For those flying, Manchester Airport may be cheaper than Leeds Bradford Airport, which has fewer direct international flights (but many connections with KLM via Amsterdam). There is a direct train from Manchester Airport to Leeds (approximately 1 hour 40 minutes).<\/em><\/p>\n

Les a\u00e9roports<\/strong> les plus proches<\/strong> sont ceux de Leeds Bradford<\/strong> <\/a>et de Manchester<\/strong><\/a>, situ\u00e9s respectivement \u00e0 environ 12 km et 90 km de l'Universit\u00e9. \u00c0 noter : pour ceux qui prennent l'avion, il peut \u00eatre moins cher de voler vers l'a\u00e9roport de Manchester que vers celui de Leeds Bradford, qui propose moins de vols internationaux directs (mais de nombreuses correspondances avec KLM via Amsterdam). Il existe un train direct entre l'a\u00e9roport de Manchester et Leeds (environ 1 h 40).<\/em><\/p>\n

For those travelling by Eurostar, there are regular direct trains from London King's Cross to Leeds (approximately 2 hours 15 minutes). King's Cross is adjacent to London St Pancras International.<\/em><\/p>\n
