\"SmartSmart Data Research UK<\/a> (SDR UK) is a UK Research and Innovation investment in digital infrastructure. It's a national programme to transform how we use data generated through everyday digital interactions, from smartphones to smart home devices. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Launched in 2023, the programme has established six specialised data services to provide safe and secure access to this valuable data. Enabling researchers to understand our world better and help solve pressing social and economic challenges.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"HASPThe Healthy and Sustainable Places Data Service (HASP) represents a groundbreaking approach to understanding and improving our communities.<\/p>\n

As one of six SDR UK data services, we focus on helping researchers to understand\u00a0healthy and sustainable mobility<\/i>,\u00a0lifestyles and food<\/i>\u00a0by providing researchers access to diverse and high-quality smart data in these domains.<\/p>\n

HASP builds upon ten years of expertise, gained via the\u00a0Consumer Data Research Centre<\/a> (Leeds). Over the past decade, the team has specialised in the access, curation, secure storage and utilisation of smart data.<\/p>\n

YouGov<\/span>\u00a0has a specialist team of research experts who provide robust evidence and insight to inform public policy and communications strategies across the public, political and not-for-profit sector. We offer an end-to-end research service, including qualitative research and advanced analytics techniques (e.g. MRP), for government, charities, academics, policy think tanks, NGO\u2019s and corporate consultancies.<\/i><\/p>\n

MetadataWorks provides data cataloguing for innovators. We make data products FAIR - Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable, helping the public sector to harness the power of their data for good. We help save public sector organisations time and resources and ultimately improve outcomes: from medical research to policymaking.<\/div>\n

MetadataWorks is the fastest-growing network of public sector data in the UK. We work alongside research organisations including SDR UK, HASP, ADR UK, ONS SRS, and RDS, as well as a range of public sector partners across Education, Health, Climate and Administrative Data. We help our partners find their data faster, streamline secure data access, improve visibility of their assets, federate metadata across platforms, accelerate metadata onboarding, set and promote data standards and report the impact of their projects, papers and outputs.<\/div>\n

The organisation was founded in 2019 by co-founders Adam and David Milward. Before launching MDW, Adam and David led a successful consultancy delivering data solutions to healthcare clients. Drawing from their experience, Adam in systems integration at IBM and David as a Senior Scientist at NATO\u2019s NCIA and a PhD researcher at Oxford, they developed a toolkit that improved data collaboration on major projects like the Oxford\u00a0Biomedical Research Centre and the 100,000 Genomes Project.<\/div>\n
